Ciara Sergi is a Brooklyn based oil painter and stop motion animator who sails the seas of traditional animation on her fine arts raft. With her passion for meticulous detail, she births gloopy, fish-like creatures and the post-apocalypic, toxic worlds that they live in. Exploring ideas of nonsense, sorrow, and feeling exposed, she animates these beings in situations that they'd probably opt out of if they had the choice. They're pretty quiet about it.
